After several decades of hosting USEA/USEF recognized horse trials, the Wayne DuPage Horse Trials, Inc. will focus its efforts in 2012 on a Cross Country Derby, providing cross country schooling opportunities and facilitating clinics. We will continue to utilize the cross country jumps and Pratts Wayne Woods Forest Preserve in Wayne, IL for all our activities. FTEA (Friends of Therapeutic Riding Activities) will remain the beneficiary of the corporation and Feather Creek Equestrian Center will continue as a sponsor.
On MAY 5 the Wayne DuPage Horse Trials, Inc. is looking forward to once again hosting a cross country schooling day in the Pratts Wayne Woods Forest Preserve (site of the Wayne DuPage Horse Trials cross country course). The schooling day will be followed the next day by a venture new this year, the CROSS COUNTRY DERBY. The Cross Country Derby MAY 6 will be the one and only Wayne DuPage Horse Trials competition this year.
The Wayne DuPage Horse Trials continues to host Lucinda Green and her Cross Country Clinic Series. Recent Lucinda Green Clinics have been so well received and oversubscribed that this year there are two clinics scheduled, June 9-10 AND June 11-12.
Make plans now to enjoy the Wayne DuPage Horse Trials, Inc. cross country course and show jumping fences by participating in the MAY 5 Schooling Day, MAY 6 Cross Country Derby and the Lucinda Green Clinics either JUNE 9-10 or JUNE 11-12.
