You also need to make sure that you bring your ID with you and once you present it for verification, you’re going to receive a logo wine with glass. In terms of pick-up, you’ll be able to take the Fur Bus which takes you from the Harmony Park to the College Ave. businesses and runs every fifteen minutes. Keep in mind though that the last pickup is at 6:30 PM.
BBQ, Blues and Bluegrass Festival
If you want to witness the sixteenth yearly Decatur Barbecue Blues and Bluegrass festival, then you need to mark you calendar properly, since the event takes place on August thirteenth 2016. Then you’ll be able to enjoy the smells, sounds and sights of classic S. barbecue from metro Atlanta staples along with more than 7h of authentic live bluegrass and blues music from accomplished and aspiring artists (national, regional and local). Better yet, since this is a family friendly event, everyone can attend.
For those who have children, the Touch A Truck event is one not to be missed. During this event, children, regardless of age, can explore, touch and also see their favorite trucks on display. This wonderful event is going to take place in the Callaway Parking lot which is situated at one hundred and twenty W. Trinity Place. Better yet, you don’t need to worry about finding a place to park your car, since free parking is available. One last thing: the event is free to the community.
Better yet, those who arrive at Touch-A-Truck by bicycle and register it by the Decatur Police will be able to receive a free bicycle pin.
